ESCAPADE
went escape with my kids, the de jure sister and de facto sisters and brothers (aka cuzzies). i guess this was the only adventure i had through these holz. The other days were simply occupied with the influenza bug and wedding galores. However it was really a nasty time to go. The weather's unbending and unsympathetic to our plans for fun and in the end, though the admission fee of 6 dollars was paid, we ended up not taking ZILCH rides - best of all, no refund. The kids were a pitiful sight and made even more pitiful when the rain neither chose to subside nor cease. So i decided to bring them out of escape to grab a bite. On our way back to escape (with a wishful thinking that the rain would stop) i bought 2 bottles of "bubbles". and that became our entertainment for the day. Apart from blowing bubbles we played some carnival games and won some soft toys.
nevertheless, i had fun with the kids though the age gap was almost a decade apart. Integrating into the youth culture was not only eye-opening but you get to refresh the straitjacketed ideas and beliefs as an adult to a youngster - if you cant beat them you gotta join them. heh...
