I was never a watch person. I can count the number of watches i buy in my life. The most recent is a Guess watch which was bought in the year '97...oh...not recent afterall....That's 10 years ago and i have been wearing that watch since - imagine how 'old skool' it looked. The idea of a watch for me is just to tell time and not as a fashion statement. I don't even take interest in choosing those fanciful ones you can easily get at good prices at those push-cart stalls or at the bugis market.... .... Been adhering to this disinterestedness till that GUESS watch failed on me. It just refused to work though the battery has been changed so many times. For so many months i was watchless... even sat for last semester's exams without a watch - depended on the clock on the wall of the exam hall while busy writing the exam scripts. Very distracting indeed.
Now this hubby of mine is a watch lover. He loved all sorts of watches and has some sort of a mini gallery of his watch collections in one of the hairdressing table display cupboards. HMmm.... being watchless, i scrutinized his collections and spotted one that i thought i could use. It's his G-shock.

Since then i've been wearing it. Looks terribly BIG for my hands but just love the macho look of it. So fascinated by the many buttons and functions. Hee...that's totally coming from an 'ulu' person who do not know about watches at all. And such a patient hubby he is, allowed me to wear it and for so many times he just had to choose other watches to wear though the Gshock best matches his attire... but then again i cant be wearing his Gshock for the next ten years... so he had to do something.
and that something is this:

finally i have a watch
thanks hubby for pampering me....
